Children are particularly welcome at Kookaburra Hill.
The rates have been designed to
accommodate families with children. Only a single booking is taken at any time
so if children make noise, as they will, there are no other guests at close range
to disturb.
For littlies, a portable cot, high chair and baby bath are available for use.
An in-ground salt-water pool has been positioned
so that parents can watch their children in the pool from their living room and
outdoor dining area. Safety fencing separates the pool and the accommodation.
There are also animals to delight children. A Welsh Mountain pony, Kevarose has a loving nature. Your host will lead her out for you to meet or for children to pat if a parent is present. Sorry,
it is not possible to offer rides. There are also ducks
and chooks and sometimes, chicks and ducklings. The chook house has been designed for little children to easily open doors and collect eggs or watch hens sitting on eggs. The pictures show some visitors
