Located within easy walking distance to Kangaroo Valley Village, Kookaburra Hill is an award winning architect designed home set on 5 acres with beautiful gardens, a pool and breathtaking views to Wedding Cake Mountain and beyond.

Extensive renovations have made the home more spacious and comfortable.

The house is set 200m back from the road to ensure privacy and quiet and features 3 bedrooms, a huge open plan living, dining and kitchen area with high ceilings, fireplace and loft, an additional living area with 60” TV, a full bathroom featuring a cast iron bath and a second bathroom with a shower. It comfortably sleeps 6 adults and offers additional accommodation for 2 more, if required. The house has fully ducted air conditioning and heating in addition to the fireplace and ceiling fans.

The new owners love to entertain and have young children and a dog, so the house is child and pet friendly and set up well for families or groups of friends to have a fabulous time.

Please note that Kookaburra Hill is no longer a bed & breakfast; guests will have the house and grounds to themselves for the duration of their stay.

The wood burning fireplace is lovely on chilly nights and is surrounded by plush sofas and cow hide stools	The zinc top dining table seats up to 10 people in comfortable leather dining chairs (there is also a high chair)	The main living area is open plan and features extra high ceilings and great views
Those who enjoy cooking and baking will appreciate the well-equipped kitchen	The vintage blacksmith table and industrial stools are the perfect setting for pre-dinner drinks and nibbles	Each of the 3 bedrooms features a queen bed with the same hotel quality bedding used at luxury accommodation like Bells at Killcare and Bannisters. Enjoy peaceful views from each room and use the blackout blinds if you don't want to be woken up by the sunrise.
The additional living area features a leather L-shaped lounge and a 60" Smart TV	The recently renovated bathroom features a cast iron tub with shower	We added an additional bathroom with walk in shower
In case you are staying for a while and want to pack light, we have a washer and dryer for guest use	We have an undercover alcove with a daybed that is very popular for afternoon naps	Our entry area has among other things our wine cork collection with contributions from hundreds of guests over the years
